Robert (Rob) Nettleton, MSW, RSW (he/him), is one of our Associate Clinicians and a registered social worker and psychotherapist in good standing with the OCSWSSW (reg# 829551). When he is not working, you can find him playing video games (RPGs!), reading, browsing vinyl, practicing yoga, and learning how to play curling.
2024 Fee Schedule: $170 per hour for individual therapy.
As a therapist, Rob’s goal is to support you on your journey of living the life you want to live and becoming the person you want to be.
Rob values authenticity, connection, and compassion, so it’s important for him to create a space where you feel that you can completely be yourself, without judgment, as we work together to identify, clarify, and ultimately achieve your goals.
Rob sees clients who tend to experience difficulties related to mood and anxiety or are seeking coping skills to navigate stress and the complexities of life.
Professional Experience:
Over the years working in the hospital setting, Rob has developed a special interest and expertise in working with male youth (ages 15-24 years) and adult males who are seeking support to deal with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, and identity development. Outside of private practice, Rob is a social worker and psychotherapist in youth psychiatry at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre.
Professional or Clinical Memberships:
Rob maintains an active professional membership with the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW), Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW), and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), demonstrating his commitment to staying informed and connected within his field.
Clinical Supervision:
Rob is currently receiving an ongoing clinical supervision from Bruno Jung-Millen, MSW, RSW (OCSWSSW, reg# 837354) and participates in peer group consultations for professional development.
