Understanding Adolescent Minds

Navigating the complexities of teenage years through psychotherapy

Our therapists include those who have worked in settings such as youth shelters, group homes, children's hospitals, and elementary and secondary schools. This diverse experience enables them to understand and address a wide range of adolescent issues, from identity formation and peer relationships to academic pressures and family dynamics. Our specialized adolescent therapy provides a safe and supportive environment where teens can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build resilience for a healthier, more balanced future.

Adolescent psychotherapy is a specialized form of therapy designed to address the unique emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges faced by teenagers. During these pivotal years, adolescents may struggle with issues such as identity formation, peer relationships, academic pressures, and family dynamics. Our experienced therapists provide a safe and supportive environment where adolescents can openly express their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. Through evidence-based approaches, we help adolescents navigate this critical stage of life, fostering their growth into healthy, well-adjusted young adults.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Aside from Adam and Kevin, our other adolescent therapists are NOT bookable online. To schedule a consultation with these therapists, please contact our office by email or use the inquiry form provided below. Our team is dedicated to finding the right therapist to meet your needs and will assist you in arranging an appointment that fits your schedule.

Important Notice

Our adolescent psychotherapy services do not include intensive behavior management, which may be better suited for hospital outpatient programs or live-in treatment programs. If your teen requires a higher level of care for severe behavioral issues, we recommend exploring these specialized programs to ensure they receive the appropriate support and intervention.
