Recruitment Criteria:
- Relevant master’s level education required (MEd, MSW, MA in Counselling Psychology), though candidates with a BSW or SSW may be considered if they demonstrate significant clinical experience.
- Must be registered with either the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
- Clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential. However, candidates with supportive counselling experience may also be considered if they possess diverse experience across human services sectors, such as community work, crisis intervention, or social services.
- Caseload commitment: Candidates must either have the ability to, or commit to, carrying a minimum caseload of two days per week, with at least 3-4 client sessions per day.
- In-person availability: Candidates must be able to offer in-person sessions at our Ottawa clinic, ensuring accessibility for clients seeking face-to-face therapy.
- Work independently and demonstrate reliability: We are looking for practitioners who can manage their cases autonomously, while being dependable and committed to client care.
- Priority given: Female or gender-diverse practitioners, as well as those who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ or BIPOC, will be given priority in our hiring process, as part of our commitment to building a diverse and inclusive team.
