Olivia (she/her) is one of our Associate Clinicians and an individual therapist. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (reg# 19147).
Olivia provides a warm, client-centered approach to therapy, creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change and works collaboratively with each client to build trust and safety. Drawing from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Olivia helps individuals explore and process their emotions in a healthy and empowering way—nurturing deeper self-awareness, inner clarity, and emotional resilience.
Using principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Olivia also guides clients in developing practical mindfulness tools, reconnecting with their personal values, and taking meaningful steps toward change, even in the face of discomfort. By integrating these approaches, Olivia tailors each session to reflect the client’s unique goals, pace, and lived experience—empowering them to navigate life’s complexities with greater self-compassion, confidence, and purpose.

2025 Fee Information:
$150 per hour for individual therapy. A sliding scale fee option may be available. HST is not applicable to clinical services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

Olivia assists young adults and adults who are looking for support in the following areas:
- Anxiety & Depression: Olivia uses evidence-based strategies to help clients build a stronger foundation for emotional regulation, while working through difficult thought patterns and overwhelming feelings with care and curiosity.
- Motivation & Burnout: Whether related to academics, work, or daily life demands, Olivia supports clients in identifying internal and external sources of burnout, while co-creating strategies for rest, resilience, and sustainable motivation.
- Self-Compassion & Mindfulness: Olivia helps clients cultivate a more accepting and supportive relationship with themselves by fostering present-moment awareness, reducing harsh self-judgment, and building tools for emotional strength. This can be especially helpful for those navigating shame, perfectionism, or self-doubt.
- Relationship Challenges: Olivia offers a supportive space for clients to unpack relational stressors—whether related to family, friendships, dating, or breakups—and helps them build communication skills, reflect on patterns, and set healthy boundaries.
- Life Transitions: From entering adulthood, adjusting to post-secondary life, or facing career or identity changes, Olivia supports clients in navigating uncertainty, loss, and growth with a focus on values-based living and emotional flexibility.
Professional Experience:
Prior to transitioning to private practice, Olivia worked as an intern in an academic setting, where she provided therapeutic and academic counselling support to university students navigating mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, and life transitions. She has also supported individuals managing experiences of neurodivergence, trauma, and identity exploration.
In addition, Olivia brings extensive experience as a psychometrist, where she facilitated psychoeducational assessments for individuals exploring learning differences, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Through this work, Olivia has developed a strong foundation in understanding diverse ways of thinking and being—informing her therapeutic work with compassion and nuance. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to holistic, evidence-based care.
Education & Training:
Olivia holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Honours in Psychology from Carleton University. During her graduate training, she completed coursework in areas such as crisis intervention, multicultural counselling, career development, counselling theories, and psychopathology. This well-rounded foundation allows her to apply evidence-informed practices with cultural sensitivity and clinical insight—meeting each client where they are, with respect for their individual story.
Clinical Supervision:
Olivia regularly participates in clinical supervision with Bruno Jung-Millen, MSW, RSW (OCSWSSW, reg# 837354), to ensure the care she provides is attuned, ethical, and grounded in best practices. She also engages in ongoing peer group consultation, where she continues to learn and grow alongside fellow clinicians—bringing fresh insight and reflective practice to her work with clients.
