Louriecar (she/her) is one of our Associate Clinicians and primarily provides clinical services to adult individuals. She is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the CRPO (reg# 12613). Using cognitive behavior, attachment-focused, and mindfulness approaches, Louriecar tailored each session to her client’s needs. Outside of work, she enjoys knitting socks and napping with Shiba-Inu!
2024 Fee Structure: $150 per hour for individual therapy. HST is not applicable for clinical services provided by Registered Psychotherapists as of June 20, 2024.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Louriecar will be on maternity leave from early July until the second week of November 2024. She will accept new clients upon her return, with a waitlist opening during the first week of October.

- Making sense of your adversities and traumatic life experiences, such as partner/gender violence, through narrative and justice-oriented approaches and guiding you to achieve wholeness by working through a body-mind-based model.

Professional Experience:
Louriecar brings her professional frontline experience in various settings, such as victim services and a rape crisis center, to our clinical environment. As a classically trained cognitive-behavior practitioner, Louriecar previously practiced in another private mental health setting in the GTA area under supervision. She is also experienced in providing language-specific psychotherapy sessions in Tagalog upon request from clients!
Education & Training:
Louriecar holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) degree from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Carleton University. She has also completed various post-graduate training programs, including but not limited to:

- Attachment-Focused Psychotherapy
- Cognitive Behavior Therapy
- National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training
- Polyvagal theory and practice
Clinical Supervision:
Louriecar is currently receiving an ongoing clinical supervision from MacGyver Kou, MSC, RP (CRPO, reg# 005445) and participates in peer group consultations for professional development.
