Meet Doro (they/them), one of our compassionate and skilled Associate Clinicians! Doro is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO 15944). They bring a thoughtful and inclusive approach to therapy, drawing from narrative therapy, solution-focused techniques, and social justice principles to help clients make sense of their life stories and navigate personal challenges.
Doro is passionate about creating a safe and affirming space for individuals from all walks of life, including those exploring identity, relationships, and mental wellness. Their practice is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique journey.

2025 Fee Information:
$135 per hour for individual therapy. A sliding scale fee option may be available at any given time. Taxes do not apply to clinical services provided by RPs.
Language Support:
To better serve our diverse community, Doro offers therapy sessions in Cantonese upon request. This allows clients to express themselves more comfortably and receive support in the language they feel most at ease with.

- Mental Health Support for Neurodivergent Individuals: Affirming care for those with ADHD, autism, or other neurodivergent experiences, focusing on strengths, self-understanding, and adaptive coping.
Professional Experience:
Doro brings a wealth of experience from community, private, and educational settings, enriching our team with their inclusive and trauma-informed approach. Most recently, they have supported clients in the community sector, working with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and racial-cultural backgrounds. Their previous roles include providing mental health support to students with disabilities in university residences and offering compassionate care to survivors of sexual violence. Doro’s multidisciplinary background reflects a deep commitment to equity, accessibility, and advocacy, allowing them to meet clients with empathy and insight across a wide range of lived experiences.
Education & Training:
Doro holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology (M.Ed.) from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) from McGill University, grounding their practice in both academic rigor and clinical insight.
Committed to lifelong learning and staying current with best practices in mental health care, Doro has completed a range of specialized training programs. These include Polyvagal Theory and Practice, which informs their trauma-sensitive approach; Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) for crisis support; Narrative Therapy and Community Practice, which deepens their work in meaning-making and storytelling; and Cross-Cultural and Health Equity training, which enhances their ability to provide inclusive and culturally responsive care.
This diverse educational foundation equips Doro to support clients with empathy, skill, and a strong ethical framework.
Clinical Supervision:
Doro is currently receiving ongoing clinical supervision from Kim de Bellefeuille-Percy, MEd, RP, CCS (CRPO 001219). Doro also participates in group consultations within our team.
