Allison (she/her) is one of our dedicated Associate Clinicians specializing in individual therapy. As a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the CRPO (008098), Allison creates a calm, caring, and supportive space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered.
She is of Indigenous heritage and, like many people, carries multiple identities and experiences that shape who she is. With awareness of and respect for Indigenous history and culture, she brings both personal perspective and professional skill to her compassionate approach. Indigenous clients may feel especially supported in her care, while all clients are welcomed into a safe, non‑judgmental space for healing and growth.

Fee Information:
$175 per hour for individual therapy. A sliding scale fee option may be available at any given time. Taxes do not apply to clinical services provided by RPs. Our clinic also offers direct billing for eligible clients with insurance benefit coverage.
NIHB Program:
Allison is also an approved provider for the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program for First Nations and Inuit. Our clinic offers direct billing for eligible clients through the NIHB program.

Allison brings over eight years of dedicated experience to her role as an Associate Clinician, with a strong foundation in adult mental health. She began her career providing psychotherapy and crisis intervention services at the Youth Services Bureau (YSB), where she honed her ability to offer immediate and effective care in high‑pressure situations. She later worked as a psychotherapist at Family Services Ottawa (FSO), supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges.
Throughout her career, Allison has worked in both community and private settings, offering a blend of short‑term and long‑term support tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. Her experience at YSB and FSO has given her a deep understanding of complex challenges, including trauma, crisis situations, mental health concerns, and relationship issues. Allison’s empathetic, client‑centered approach is grounded in this background, allowing her to provide compassionate and effective care. She combines extensive clinical experience with a strong commitment to fostering resilience, self‑compassion, and personal growth, empowering clients to make lasting, positive changes in their lives.
Education & Training:
Allison holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Psychology and a Master of Education with a concentration in Counselling Psychology, both from the University of Ottawa. She has completed training through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), including Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) Essentials, and has undertaken additional coursework in narrative therapy, trauma, substance use issues, suicide intervention, attention‑deficit/hyperactivity disorder treatment, and Indigenous Cultural Safety Training.
Allison also has extensive experience in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which she integrates into her practice alongside other evidence‑based, trauma‑responsive approaches. She is committed to providing compassionate, client‑centered care. With her broad skill set and specialized knowledge, Allison is well equipped to support clients through a wide range of challenges, including trauma, substance use, cultural sensitivity, and crisis intervention.
